Angels 13 items What is the Shia opinion about angels? When we say man is the most superior creature (Ashrafe-Makhloqaat) does it mean that from all the things? Created by Allah, man is the best, even greater than the angels? Do the Shī‘ah think that Jibra’īl (Archangel Gabriel) has committed treachery when he conveyed the message (risālah) to Muhammad instead of ‘Alī ibn Abī Ṭālib? In the event of creating Adam (a.s), why did the angles say that mankind would bring about corruption and bloodshed in the earth; is this not open objection (of God's decision)? Is prostrating to other than God forbidden? We know that some angels do nothing but worship Allah (awj). Is this worship of theirs performed of their own freewill? If not, does Allah (awj) have need of such worship? 1. I have heard from a scholar that a number of angels and jinns came to Karbala to help Imam Hussein (A.S.), but he refused to accept their offer. Is it true that they came and offered their help (before the Imam had entered the battlefield)? Does this story have any confirmation in our sources? 2. If such a thing is true, please explain why Imam Hussein refused to accept their help? How old are the angels? Do the high angles die? How? Can one say that the angels are infallible and that they possess different levels of infallibility? Does the angel of death take the life of all living things? If an angel takes on the form of a human, would it have any inclinations towards desire and lust? Could the angel, like other human beings, marry, consume food, and perform other actions? I want some information about the meaning and origin of the word "Futrus", the name of the angel whose wings grew after touching Imam Hussain (a.s).
