Answer

Referring to narrations of the Prophet’s household (a.s.) signifies that the meaning of "اهل الذکر" are infallible Imams from descendants of the Prophet (s.a.w.). Some of narrations are as follows:
1- Kulayni(may Allah be merciful to him) has quoted from Imam Baqir (a.s.) with his own document that he has quoted from the Prophet (s.a.w.) about the statement of the Almighty and Glorious Allah ﴿فَاسْأَلُواْ أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِن كُنتُمْ لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ﴾
[1]that he said: “I am the reminder, and Imams (a.s.) are the followers of the reminder”. Imam Baqir (a.s.) said about the statement of the Almighty and Glorious Allah ﴿وَإِنَّهُ لَذِكْرٌ لَّكَ وَلِقَوْمِكَ وَسَوْفَ تُسْأَلُونَ﴾
[2]“And most surely it is a reminder for you and your people, and you shall soon be questioned” that: “we are his -the Prophet- people and we are asked”. [3]
2- And also Kulayni has quoted from Washsha with his own document that he said: “I asked Imam Riza (a.s.) and said to him that: my I be the ransom! What is the meaning of the verse ﴿فَاسْأَلُواْ أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِن كُنتُمْ لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ؟﴾ Riza (a.s.) answered: “we are the followers of the reminder, and we have been asked”. [4]
3- Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Babiwayh has quoted from Riyan ibn Salt with his own document that while speaking in a meeting Imam Riza(a.s.) said: “… we are the followers of the reminder that Almighty Allah said in His book that: ﴿فَاسْأَلُواْ أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِن كُنتُمْ لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ﴾the scholars who were present at the meeting said that: “Allah’s purpose of “the followers of the reminder" are Jews and Christians. Imam Riza (a.s.) said: Glory be to Allah! Is this probability allowable? They can invite us to their religion in this case and say that their religion is better than Islam. Ma’mun said to Imam that: “do you have any explanation for the verse which shows that this claim is baseless ? Imam Riza (a.s.) answered that: “yes, the Prophet (s.a.w.) is the reminder, and we are the followers of the reminder. This matter is clear in Allah’s book, it is stated in Al- Talaq surah that: ﴿فَاتَّقُوا اللهَ يَا أُوْلِي الْأَلْبَابِ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا قَدْ أَنزَلَ اللهُ إِلَيْكُمْ ذِكْرًا * رَّسُولًا يَتْلُو عَلَيْكُمْ آيَاتِ اللهِ مُبَيِّنَاتٍ﴾
[5]“therefore be careful of (your duty to) Allah, O men of understanding who believe! Allah has indeed revealed to you a reminder* An Messenger, who rehearses to you the Signs of Allah containing clear explanations”, therefore the Prophet (s.a.w.) was the reminder, and we are the followers of the reminder”. [6]
4- Sayyid Hashim Bahrani has quoted from Barqi from Abdul- Karim ibn Abi Daylam with his own document, and Abdul- Karim has quoted from Imam Sadiq (a.s.) that he said about the statement of the Glorious Allah:﴿فَاسْأَلُواْ أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِن كُنتُمْ لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ﴾that: “the Book(Quran) is that very the reminder, and the family of Muhammad (a.s.) are its followers. The Almighty and Glorious Allah has ordered to ask them and has not ordered to ask ignorant people. The Almighty and Glorious Allah has named Quran the reminder, in this verse:﴿وَأَنزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ الذِّكْرَ لِتُبَيِّنَ لِلنَّاسِ مَا نُزِّلَ إِلَيْهِمْ وَلَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ﴾
[7]“and We have revealed to you the Reminder that you may make clear to men what has been revealed to them, and that haply they may reflect”, and also He says in this verse that: ﴿وَإِنَّهُ لَذِكْرٌ لَّكَ وَلِقَوْمِكَ وَسَوْفَ تُسْأَلُونَ﴾
