How does the verse no. 35 of Younus chapter indicate the superiority of Imam to the nation “Ummah”?

Visits 310 categorization: Qur’anic Sciences

Referring to the verse no. 35 of Younus chapter in which the Almighty God says:﴿أَفَمَنْ يَهْدي إِلَى الْحَقِّ أَحَقُّ أَنْ يُتَّبَعَ أَمَّنْ لا يَهِدِّي إِلاّ أَنْ يُهْدى فَما لَکُمْ کَيْفَ تَحْکُمُونَ﴾ “Is he then who guides (the creation) to the truth more worthy to be followed, or he who himself does not go aright unless he is guided? [O, polytheists!]What then is the matter with you [that you are mindless and ridiculous]; how do you judge?” [1]
Signifies that: the one who guides the people to the truth should be followed; because he is truth and with the truth, and therefore we should consider him superior to others who do not guide to the truth or guide to the void. On this basis the Holy Qur'an addresses the polytheists with this question in the beginning of the above mentioned verse says:﴿قُلْ هَلْ مِنْ شُرَکائِکُمْ مَنْ يَهْدي إِلَى الْحَقِّ﴾Say: “Is there any of your associates who guides to the truth?”
It is clear that they cannot do that thus in the answer of this question the Almighty God says immediately:﴿قُلِ اللهُ يَهْدي لِلْحَقِّ﴾ Say: “Allah guides to the truth (only)”. [2]
