Which verses of the Holy Quran does indicate the independency of the infallible person?

Visits 296 categorization: Qur’anic Sciences

Referring to the Holy Quran signifies that the verses of Quran certify that the infallible person has the choice to quit committing the sin; here we mention some of these verses:﴿قُلْ أَ غَيْرَ اللهِ أَتَّخِذُ وَلِيّاً فاطِرِ السَّماواتِ وَاْلأَرْضِ وَهُوَ يُطْعِمُ وَلا يُطْعَمُ قُلْ إِنِّي أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَکُونَ أَوَّلَ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ وَلا تَکُونَنَّ مِنَ الْمُشْرِکِينَ * قُلْ إِنِّي أَخافُ إِنْ عَصَيْتُ رَبِّي عَذابَ يَوْم عَظِيم﴾ A) “Say: Shall I take a guardian besides Allah, the originator of the heavens and the earth, and he feeds (others) and is not (himself) fed. Say: I am commanded to be the first who submits himself, and you should not be of the polytheists * say: Surely I fear, if I disobey my Lord, the chastisement of a grievous day” [1]
The verse states clearly that the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) fears the sin; because it leads to the chastisement on the Resurrection Day. Would he fear committing the sin, if he did not have the power to do that?﴿وَلا تَدْعُ مِنْ دُونِ اللهِ ما لا يَنْفَعُکَ وَلا يَضُرُّکَ فَإِنْ فَعَلْتَ فَإِنَّکَ إِذاً مِنَ الظّالِمِينَ﴾B) “And do not call besides Allah on that which can neither benefit you nor harm you, for if you do then surely you will in that case be of the unjust” [2]
Is it right to say to the one who has not any choice that: If you don’t do that…﴿قُلْ إِنَّما أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَعْبُدَ اللهَ وَلا أُشْرِکَ بِهِ إِلَيْهِ أَدْعُوا وَإِلَيْهِ مَآبِ﴾C) “Say: I am only commanded that I should serve Allah and not associate anything with him, to him do I invite (you) and to him is my return” [3]
It is very clear that it is not right to order someone who does not have any choice to do something. ﴿وَإِذْ بَوَّأْنا لاِبْراهِيمَ مَکانَ الْبَيْتِ أَنْ لا تُشْرِکْ بِي شَيْئا﴾D) “And when we assigned to Ibrahim the place of the house, saying: do not associate with me aught” [4]﴿وَلَقَدْ أُوحِيَ إِلَيْکَ وَإِلَى الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِکَ لَئِنْ أَشْرَکْتَ لَيَحْبَطَنَّ عَمَلُکَ وَلَتَکُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخاسِرِينَ﴾E) “And certainly, it has been revealed to you and to those before you: surely if you associate (with Allah), your work would certainly come to naught and you would certainly be of the losers” [5]﴿وَلَوْ تَقَوَّلَ عَلَيْنا بَعْضَ اْلأَقاوِيلِ * لاَخَذْنا مِنْهُ بِالْيمِينِ * ثُمَّ لَقَطَعْنا مِنْهُ الْوَتِينَ * فَما مِنْکُمْ مِنْ أَحَد عَنْهُ حاجِزِينَ﴾F) “And if he had fabricated against us some of the sayings * we would certainly have seized him by the right hand * then we would certainly have cut off his aorta * and not one of you could have withheld us from him”.
